Do not be careless, Here's the Right Way to Clean Baby Milk Bottles

Cleaning baby's milk bottles should not be careless. When used, the milk bottle will stick to the baby's mouth and collect the milk to be drunk. How to Clean Baby Bottles

Cleaning a baby's milk bottle can be done in two ways, namely cleaning the milk bottle manually or using a washing machine.

Clean the milk bottle manually

If you clean your baby's milk bottles manually by hand, there are a number of steps you can do, which are:
  • Wash your hands first with soap and running water. Rub your hands with soap for about 20 seconds.
  • Separate all parts of the bottle, such as bottles, nipples, bottle valves, and bottle caps. After that, rinse with running water.
  • Soak the bottles in a basin of warm water and soap. Avoid putting it in the sink, because it can increase the risk of germ contamination.
  • Clean the bottles one by one using a special brush. Don't forget to clean the bottle to the bottom, mom.
  • When cleaning the pacifier, make sure you can remove the water from the pacifier hole. This is useful to ensure that the pacifier is completely clean.
  • After that, rinse all parts of the bottle again with clean water and dry with a clean towel free of dust.

Clean the bottle with a washing machine

Even if you use a washing machine, it is still important for you to wash your hands before you start cleaning the milk bottles. After that, Mother can start washing milk bottles by:
  • Separate all parts of the bottle, such as bottles, nipples, rings, and bottle valves.
  • Rinse all parts of the bottle under running water. Mother can rinse it one by one with cold water or warm water.
  • Put all parts of the milk bottle into the washing machine. However, don't forget to put small items in a covered basket, mom.
  • For maximum results, Mother can also fill the washing machine with warm water, so that the number of germs that die more.
  • When done, remove all parts of the bottle and place it on a clean towel.
In addition to cleaning baby's milk bottles, Mother is advised to sterilize baby milk bottles. The trick is to separate all parts of the bottle, then soak all parts in a pan of boiling water for about 5 minutes. After that, lift and dry with a clean towel.
